This is what Australian media company Village Roadshow had in mind when they partnered with Reach Media to promote the release of Batman v Superman on Bluray, DVD, and Digital.
Reach Media were the natural choice to deliver a highly targeted and engaging campaign to 18-45 year old fans throughout Sydney and Melbourne. The campaign aims to not only catch the target audience’s attention with compelling images from the movie, but to also encourage on-the-spot engagement and instant conversion.
In order to fulfill Village Roadshow's objectives, Reach Media executed the campaign distribution throughout the Melbourne and Sydney CBD - focusing on cafe partners in close proximity to comic book stores as well as university campuses in each market.
The coffee cup creative is consistent with the movie’s promo materials; using vibrant images of the movie’s main characters - Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman and incorporated a convenient tear-off portion. This tear-off portion offers people the chance to win 1 of the 50 Batman v Superman prive packs and creates a strong and instantaneous call-to-action to the target audience while spreading awareness that Batman v Superman is now available on Bluray, DVD, and Digital formats.
